The Housing Opportunity for People with AIDS (HOPWA) program has maintained its focus on helping low income individuals and their families living with HIV/AIDS with case management and support services.
Case management services are provided to individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS in the Greater Lowell community. Case Managers provide advocacy and assistance to individuals who need guidance in accessing various social and medical services. These services assist individuals with improving life management skills, which allows them to continue to improve their health and maintain their housing. Assistance is provided around housing issues and obtaining vocational and educational goals. Many participants represent the most vulnerable and underserved populations.
