Adolescent Services

LHATR conducts substance abuse evaluations, group, and individual counseling for adolescents

who are struggling with substance use at any level in our outpatient clinic.

Services are provided by a Masters Level Clinician who specializes in treating this age group.

The Adolescent Diversion Program is a 10 week educational and therapeutic program that focuses on

the emotional and psychological impact of substance use. This program is designed to address the

needs of adolescents who are at risk of developing an addiction. LHATR receives referrals for adolescent

services from Public Schools, courts, probation, DCF, health care professionals, and family

Most Mass Health plans are accepted, as well as private pay with a sliding fee scale, or in

some cases service is paid for by the Bureau of Substance Abuse.
